Blog Post 25

My motivations for the final project are to do a collage of constructive reality with fashion. I will be using different poses of fashion of the same person but make them floating in the air. There outfits will be either made out of food, trash bags or flowers. What motivated me to use fashion was because of the different outfits that can be worn and the make used to do the sets. I feel that using these materials will make the project more interesting and not as boring as other fashion pictures that look the same.

I would recreate this image by using stuff animals instead and recreate these two photos

B. Describe your plans for your self-proposed final project (if the plan is the same as before, paste it here again and give a bit more detail). During the final critique for Assignment #5, you will discuss/present these ideas to the class.

For my self-proposed final project I am going to take pictures of the city of Lansing and place a picture of me in the feilds in front of it.  It will be more of explaining the country and the city

Blog 23

The ways that I construct my identity are the way I dress and my daily routine are ways that I perform my identity.
My personal and enviromental culture is constructed by the way that I communicate with people around me and the things that I do when I hang out with my friends and when I am around my family.
My physical ways are instructed by the way the things that I do in daily life like excersising to stay healthy.
The things that I would considered real are the way that I am when it comes to my family. Fabricated is the way that I act around people that I hardley know.
A narrative would be two people growing up together and showing there whole life together marriage, kids, home.vacations and then becoming grandparents.
An idea for a photographer to do a stage or still life would be to make food out of clothes.

Critiqu 2: For my evalution the audience suggest that the actual picture that was printed was to be brightend and less dark. The picture of all of the jewelery and the girl suggested it to be a series or a series of an advertisment. The audience suggest that the picture could be in a magazine selling a necklace. In the actual picture the audience suggest that I the picture should show more detail of the heart and the metal surrounding the heart.

Critique 2: The audience suggest that the actual picture was too dark and that it should be lighted up more. The pearsl should be less bright around in the dark areas. The audence also sugested that there should be text in the bottom right hand corner to fo along with the series of advertising jewlery. The audience suggest that the picture could be in a jewlery store poster, brochure, pamplet and magazine.

Critique 2:The auduenced suggested that the actual picture was not so darked and that the pearls are very soft in the picture. It is really hard to see the texting in the word pearls as well the words should be tested in white. The logo in the bottom right hand corner looked very nice not being there like the original our; The audience suggested that the picture can be take for a magazine or for a book for jelewlers in there store.

Blog Post #20

A&B.. If I could create a series photographic images it would be of a movie scene. The movie scene would have lots of movement in the scene and it would also be taken in the city because there are a lot of great objects that you can capture. The scenes will take place at night to get the city lights and it would also have a few texting involved in the beginning and ending of the scene. The pictures will have all of the quality of assignments that we have learned about in class. I have been brain storming ideas of the cities to capture the pictures at. Some of the cities include Lansing, Traver City and Detroit. All these places have great sky scrappers and lots of city lights,

Pictures should not tell you what you already know. I believe this is true because you should capture the quality of something you don't ever see because it makes the picture more interesting.

What you can not see is more important and that is why you should capture the things you cannot see. It captures the more of the picture.

Yes that is so true. Pictures capture the present because it is a memory of the past. Something for someone to remember and reflect the past on.
If the world was without phootographs then everyone would not be able to see and expereince all of the greatnness that is in our world today. There would be no proof of anything that we saw and the worled would not be as interesting as it is today with photographs. Also photographers would not be able to have the best expereince taking photos and the world would be a bit boring. Friends and family would not be able to expereince memorsies. Photograph means a portrait of a memory.

Blog Prompt 3 4
I disagree because there are so much things you can do to recreate a photo and has to do with how the viewers look at it. Everyone has different oppinons. Photographs reveail a story I totally agree. They capture the memories and help give a background or some sort of proof to the viewer.

The quote Mary Ellen Mark is very true. You are capturing a photo/memorie of someone and it can be very special to them. Also it is true that you are capturing a part of there soul so it would be interesting on how you are capturing them and what there opnion on the photo of then taken.

Its appropriate when you have there permision especially if you think it would be inappropriate to take it. It would be inappropriate if you didnt have there permission or of the image taken is copyrighted

you see a lot of photographic portrits in the stores and magazines espcecially when advertsing. The portatits that you see in the news and on facebook can give the viewer a judgement of that person but it all depends on there judgment. The difference with it being on the new and on Face book is facebook would not have as many portraits that being professional and seroius.

To me that means that the photographs are in his creative mind and it gives an explanation of who he is and what type of photograher he is while the person in the picture that is them in the picture listening to how he wants them in the photo.

You are the creator of the photograh that you take. You are the artist not just taking pictures and theres nothing creative about it that you did to it.

Photographs are memories that we choose to take. It reminds us again of that moment and time for us to think about what happend in the past.

I have a memory of my old house. I always have dreams about that old house and this would be a great photo of it from my dream. My family is in the picture and its always sunny outside and nice out. We are inside my mom in the kitchen me and my sister watching televsion playing and my father doing some sort of construction work wether inside or outside of the house.

I remeber the most of when I was lillte I had my birthday at the park where the zoo was at. I always go through my pictures and that is the picture from my birthday I always seem to remeber.

Humans have a lot of interaction with nature. Nature reminds me of humans in how they need nutrients and food as well to grow and the things nature do in otder to survive and to keep humans alove. I would take a picture of the river because the river/ocean has done so much for humans, Travel, everyday things to survice, electricity, bathing etc. I would make a nice peaceful photo of the river to show how calm it is even though it has done a lot for humans and animals. I might incorporate people bathing, sailing or drinking the water to show how we use the river a lot.

places that have been touced little by humans would be volcanoes,. You could photograph them in the distant and then photoshop someone close to the valcanoe.
I would us slow shitter speed on airplanes or birds because they move very quickly in the air and it can be very hard trying to capture a nice view od them.

Show a Change in Time
Yes you can show a change in tiem in your images in ways other then physically moving objects in the scene. You can show a change in time by recreating a moment where there was a change in time.

Photography

Should not be photographed? Why?  I believe everything can be photographed because its the way we see things. The only time an image should not be photographed is when it is inappropriate or the person doesnt want to be photographed. Also pictures that are copyrighted can not be photographed neither.
The things that I do not want to photogrpah are disturbing images of people and animals.
